Technical induction of an Indian skilled worker on the equipment at the German company
Compensatory measures take place where the content is actually needed

From Indian training to German recognition.

The recognition of foreign professional qualifications is a formal procedure with clear rules. These rules can be planned for. Overlook them, and you lose months.

Everything hinges on the reference occupation

The first step addresses one question: which Indian vocational training is comparable to the German occupation you want to fill?

This assignment determines the entire subsequent process. If the wrong reference occupation is chosen, the recognition procedure fails — after months, after entry, after your investment. We therefore clarify comparability with the competent authority before we begin the selection process.

Comparability, deficits, compensation

The competent authority assesses equivalence and issues a decision. Three outcomes are possible:

Full equivalence

Recognition is granted before the first day of work.

Partial equivalence

The notice specifies exactly which content is missing. We close the gap through compensatory measures at your company.

No equivalence

This outcome is avoided by clarifying the reference occupation beforehand. That is why it comes first.

To date, every procedure we have accompanied has resulted in full recognition.

Compensatory measures at your company

Missing content is acquired where it is needed: on your equipment, within your processes. We structure the measure, document it for the competent authority and carry the procedure through to completion. This is done on the basis of Section 16d (3) of the German Residence Act (AufenthG).

Your contribution

  • a technical point of contact
  • the possibility of carrying out the measure during ongoing operations
  • willingness to sign off on the documentation

The process in six steps

  1. 01

    Needs analysis and target occupation

  2. 02

Identify the reference occupation and clarify comparability with the competent authority (zuständige Stelle)

  3. 03

Selection of suitable candidates in India

  4. 04

Language and technical preparation, Operator and Industry Conversion Course

  5. 05

    Entry, arrival, start of employment

  6. 06

Compensatory measures (Ausgleichsmaßnahmen) and completion of the recognition procedure

Why we do not shortcut this

A recognition procedure can be sped up by skipping steps. The price for that is paid later: at the competent authority, at the immigration office, or in your operations. We plan the full path from the outset and tell you the resulting timeline.

Next step

Tell us what your company needs.

In the needs analysis we define your job profile, the matching reference occupation, the required German language level and the resulting start date.
